When I decided to write this; I thought back to when I was not a part of a church. I was curious about Bible-believing churches and I wanted to visit, but did not because I feared the unknown. I feared that I would not be welcomed, or I would be judged, or that it would be awkward following the worship. But when I did get the courage up – I was delighted to find a very friendly congregation which warmly welcomed me.
When it came to the way they worshiped; it was simple, reverent, and easy to follow. They did not follow unexplained traditional rituals – instead the service was simple with singing, reading of the Scriptures, and the preaching of the Bible.
My first surprise was that the preaching was not like any preaching I had ever heard before. In my old church the minister spent at most ten minutes talking; either about a recent TV show or a book, and how this illustrated an interesting point. But what I encountered in the church I was visiting was very different. The preaching was done from the Bible and was full of depth, logic, and passion. It filled my mind with a new understanding of God, and it moved my heart to a better understanding of God’s will for my life. I sat there just drinking in the whole experience. I did not want the service to end; but when it did, that is when the strangest thing happened. The people weren’t racing out the door. Instead they visited with each other and talked together like old friends.
The reason I am sharing this account is because that is exactly how each of our Sunday services are. Every service is a feast upon God’s Holy Scripture. Every service is the bringing together of a family of brethren, delighting in the things of God. With this said, I extend to you and your family a cordial invitation to visit us in our church and share with us in our services.
A warm, friendly, welcome awaits you!

About our Beliefs
"A certain man lame from his mother's womb...whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple" (Acts 3;2)
There are many cripples among us still, cripples through their own sins and the sins of others. The world is full of these poor diabled and impotent men and women. In the spiritual sphere they are helpless. Made to glorify God and to enjoy Him for ever, they can do nothing whatever for the fulfilment of their chief end. And they lie at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. The doors of the Church stand open to them on every side and Christian witness is never far away. Strange, is it not? that they are not cured ere now, so near to the source of spiritual health, yet missing the cure all the while. But if we are to bless the despairing and dying cripples, the love of Christ must be flowing through us. We must be their good physician through Him who fills our souls, regenerates our being and uses our words and deeds to accomplish His miracles of tenderness and power. May the life of our Redeemer in us overflow its banks, carrying its refreshment to parched and perishing souls. Thus will He repeat by our hands His mighty works once more.";s:7:"summary";s:1288:"

"I will be as the dew unto Israel" (Hosea 14:5)
Hosea, more than most of his brothers in the prophetic fellowship, is the prophet of the Love of God. I will be as the dew, God says to me through this old messenger and servant in his family. How good a word that is! Nothing is more beneficient than the dew. It refreshes the hot, tired earth and rekindles its vanished beauty. It calls forth its fruit - the grass, the clover, the corn. So God promises He will deal with me, changing my life from a wilderness into His enclosed garden. And nothing is quieter and more noiseless than the dew. It makes no stir as it does its gracious work. There is nothing of the whir and snarl of man's machinery about its operations. So God likewise performs in me His marvels of regeneration and renewal, all unseen by the world outside. And nothing is more discriminating than the dew. It falls on the wide world, on field and forest and hill; but "ilka blade o' grass", as the Scottish song says, also receives its own coolness and quickening benediction. Why do I lose heart in the way and work of God? Sometimes it is through physical and nervous exhaustion. Thus was Elijah worn and wearied after his great victory at Carmel; and a much smaller cause may lead me into a similar result. I bless God that He knows our frame. Sometimes it is the want of a human friend. Would not even Elijah have been strengthened by the fellowship of kindred souls? Sometimes it is the sense of failure in my work. This was what brought upon Elijah the loss of resolve, his weakness and discouragement. But my Lord's work at Calvary, the unlovely and sorrowful hill, has long since blossomed into fruitfulness; and so may mine. Sometimes it is the defect in my view of God. The shortest and sweetest of words! Christ's favourite word is "Come". He keeps calling it over and over: "Hither to me", "Come, all ye that labour and I will give you rest". It makes me a new creation. And, by and by, there is the "Come" of Eternity. He wants to have His friends still closer to Him. He bids them enter His joy and share with Him His throne on high. Their winter is over and gone; their everlasting summer has come. They are with Him where he is, to behold His glory.
